Orbost 2011 Relay for Life

Orbost Regional Health is proud to support the 2011 Orbost Relay for Life event which will be held at the Orbost Football Oval on 12^th and 13th of November.

One in three Victorians will be diagnosed with cancer by age 75, so we all have a reason to help fight the disease. Orbost Relay For Life is suitable for everyone and is an opportunity for us to band together and celebrate with cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against cancer.

Orbost Relay For Life will see teams of locals taking turns to walk through the night to raise funds. The money raised will fund life-saving cancer research, prevention programs to help local residents reduce their cancer risk, and provide support services for people facing cancer.

In the lead up to the Orbost Relay For Life, local businesses will show their support for this event by decorating their windows to ‘Paint The Town Purple’ from Monday 31 October to Friday 4 November.
