Rural Midwifery Training Program
Orbost Regional Health is committed to the education and training of future rural health midwives. We provide clinical experience and education for students of Monash University Midwifery Schools. In additional we have been responsible for the qualification of 3 midwives and we are about to commence training another midwife in conjunction with Monash University. We believe that rural Midwifery training goes a long way towards sustaining qualified midwives in rural areas.
