Planned Activity Group (PAG)
Planned Activity Group happens on Tuesday and Thursday each week, and include social interaction and recreational activities such as games, music, computers, crafts, swimming, and outings to the cinema, live theatre, lunches, walking and shopping.
Planned Activity Groups are for people:
- aged 65 and over
- living with a disability
- receiving NDIS assistance
Planned Activity Groups also provide support for carers by providing respite for up to 5 hours per day.
There is a small fee, which includes morning tea and lunch.
The group caters to people of all ages with a disability.
Basic health checks are also provided as required and referrals to other service providers are available.
The activities are aimed at stimulation of both the mind and body.
Orbost Men's Shed
The Orbost Men’s Shed is for local blokes of all ages interested in getting together to work on projects for themselves or the community.
The Orbost Men’s Shed is an opportunity for people to take part in the very popular and well supported gathering on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to repair things, socialise and practice their woodworking skills.
The program is run by the Orbost Men’s Shed, using the shed provided by Orbost Regional Health.
The Orbost Men's Shed is located at 24 Tyndall Street, Orbost.
